Black Queer Art Collective

Designing for movement and liberation

Role: Identity Design, Web Design, Graphic Design

Design Tools: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

Since 2019, I've served as designer and creative consultant for the Black Queer Art Collective of Atlanta, a group of contemporary dancers, fashion designers, and visual artists reclaiming space through performance and wearable art. I've created web graphics, poster designs, and marketing collateral to promote their showcases across the city—celebrating fluidity, identity, and self-expression through movement-inspired visuals.

a shy [RED] moon (2019)

A Shy [RED] Moon by Okwae Miller, is an integrated choreographic short film confronting the stigma of HIV/AIDS within the Black queer community. Through powerful visuals and research-based storytelling, the film explores the lives of four HIV-positive Black gay men in Atlanta, centering themes of healing, identity, and acceptance. I designed a series of posters to help promote the first live showcase.

PhaeMonae.Studio (2022)

I designed the website for PhaeMonae.Studio, a sustainable, fashion-forward brand creating eco-conscious, gender-fluid wearable art. Guided by ancestral wisdom and urban cultural roots, the site captures the studio’s ethos—celebrating flamboyance, joy, and intuitive self-expression through design that empowers both the wearer and the planet.
